Any new building or building renovation within the city requires a plan review, prior to filing for permits. This office not only
conducts final review submissions but also is available for the scheduling of preliminary reviews. If you are currently working
on a project or are in the planning stages, it is recommended that you contact this office in the early phase of that project, to
avoid any problems or complications.

Please note that any project contract signed after December 31, 2006, is to be designed and constructed under the 2006 codes. 
Be sure to update your code books and references and feel free to contact the Department of Licensing, Inspections and Permits with any questions regarding this matter.

Plan Review Fee Schedule

Building Reviews:

For building with an estimated construction value up to $3,000,000, the building
plan review fee is 0.0013 of the estimated value ($250 minimum).

For building with an estimated construction value between $3,000,000 and $6,000,000,
the building plan review fee is $3,900 plus 0.0005 of the valuation over $3,000,000.

For building with an estimated construction value over $6,000,000 the fee is $5,400
plus 0.0004 of the valuation over $6,000,000.

M.E.P. Reviews:

The plan review fee for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing are to be computed as 25% each of the total building plan review cost ($250 minimum).
