The permit fee shall be based on the Cost of the Job (Cost of Job to include
proposed building, labor and materials), Permit Fee Formula: Find the Cost of Job Category that your job falls into (Categories 1, 2, and 3 are flat Base Fees 1. For categories 4, 5 and 6, Round your job cost up to the nearest thousand 2. Cost of Job - Category Minimum Cost = Difference 4. Product + the Base fee = Permit Fee 5. Permit fee + State Fee = Total Permit Fee Example of Formula for a Job with a Cost of $22,300: 1. $22,300 rounds up to $23,000 2. $23,000 - $1,000 = $22,000 3. 22 (drop the thousand fraction) x $12.00 = $264.00 4. $264.00 + $35.00 = $299.00 5. $299.00 + $2.00 = $301.00 (Total Permit Fee)
