The permit fee shall be based on the Cost of Job. Use the formula below to calculate the fee.
(Cost of Job to include proposed building, labor and materials)

Permit Fee Formula

Find the Cost of Job Category that your job falls into.
(Categories 1, 2, and 3 are Flat Base Fees which are listed in the Cost of Permit Column)

1. For categories 4, 5 and 6, Round your job cost up to the nearest thousand
2. Cost of Job - Category Minimum Cost = Difference
3. Difference x the Multiplier = Product
4. Product + the Base fee = Permit Fee
5. Permit fee + State Fee = Total Permit Fee
  • PERMIT FEE INCLUDES THE $4.00 STATE FEE AS PER ACT 45
  • Please check with our contracted third party agency to verify cost of inspection/ plan review
    if any of that will be applied to the job
