The Scranton Junior City Council was formed in February 2006 to encourage young adults to become involved in our city government. Since our inception we have completed numerous community projects, which include raising funds to purchase
a Children's Handicap Accessible Swing set for Nay Aug Park. We have all gained a better understanding of our city
government, and we continue to attract young people into our progressing city.
