The Department of Public Works responsibilities are diverse and complex, covering all four seasons. The Department is
comprised of the Highway Division, the Refuse Division, the Recycling Division, the Traffic Maintenance Division and the
Fleet Maintenance Division. The Department of Public Works is responsible for the collection of all refuse and recycling.
The Highway Division is responsible for a multitude of tasks. They are responsible for maintenance of all City streets
and bridges, avenues, courts and alleys, as well as snow removal from all City streets.

To pick up recycling bins come to 101 West Poplar Street, Scranton, PA 18509.
The Recycling Division is responsible for White Goods Pickup.
